Privacy notice

We collect as little as we can, and we're clear about what we do with it.

Newsletter subscribers

We store your email address, optional first name, the area and interests you chose, when and where you signed up (including any referral code from a QR card), and a hashed record of the consent. We send a confirmation email before adding you to any list. Every email has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing adds your address to a suppression list so we don't email you again.

Event submissions

We keep what you send us so we can publish and correct listings and reply to you. Your name and organisation may appear on the listing; your email and phone number are never shown publicly unless you ask us to.

Sponsorship enquiries

We store the details you give us to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to run and report on your campaign.

Website analytics

We count page views, searches, clicks on booking links and sponsor placements using our own first-party system. We store a daily-rotating hash instead of your IP address, we don't use advertising cookies, and we don't share analytics with third parties. A cookie is set only to remember a referral code for 30 days.

Local organisations

We keep a directory of local venues, clubs, businesses and organisations built from public sources so we can invite them to share what's happening. We only email organisational addresses, we classify each organisation before contacting it, and every message includes a one-click opt-out. To be removed, use the link in any email or contact us.
